पतित पावनी तथा लाखों लोगों को अपने जल से सींचने वाली यमुना नदी का अस्तित्व संकट में है। यमुना का पानी जहरीला हो गया है इसे जिंदा रखने के लिए इसके प्रवाह को बनाए रखना बहुत जरूरी है। इसी पर आधारित यह फिल्म।

Yamuna Waterkeeper Ms Minakshi Arora based in New Delhi, India has won  Green Apple Environment Award in the International campaign to find Britain’s as well as World's greenest companies, councils and communities.

She competed against more than 500 other nominations in the Green Apple Awards, and she will be presented with her trophy and certificate at a glittering presentation ceremony in the House of Commons on November 11.

She has been recognized already as a Water Champion 2012 this year and won Water Champion Award 2012 on 22nd March, World Water Day by World Water Monitoring Challenge for her environmental educational activities,

Minakshi Arora, Yamuna Waterkeeper gets International recognition for her outstanding efforts and contribution to the environment.


In honor of the United Nations’ World Water Day, the World Water Monitoring Challenge™ (WWMC) has made announcement of the recipients of the fourth annual Water Champion awards.


Ms. Arora is selected for Water Champion Award 2012, by World Water Monitoring Challenge. The World Water Monitoring Challenge Water Champion Awards recognize superior levels of relevance, educational effort, support, and innovation in the promotion of water quality; via involvement in World Water Monitoring Challenge (WWMC).
